Jemeisha Lyde joined WRBL News 3 in October 2018 as a Digital Journalist. She was born and raised in Florence, South Carolina, where she found the passion to tell stories with a camera.
Jemeisha pursued her Bachelor’s in Mass Media Arts at Clark Atlanta University and earned her Masters degree at Full Sail University in New Media Journalism. Prior to her move back to Georgia, she worked as a Multimedia Journalist at KUMV-TV in Williston, North Dakota.
Some of her best news coverage’s while reporting in the Bakken were the tornado relief efforts in Watford City and interviewing 2018 Miss America Cara Mund. When Jemeisha is not reporting, you can find her in the gym, shopping around the city and dining at local restaurants.
