Karyssa D’Agostino joined the WRBL team in November 2020. She is a recent graduate of Syracuse University. At SU, Karyssa earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast digital journalism from Syracuse’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
Before going to SU, Karyssa earned an associate’s degree in journalism from Brookdale Community College. However, it was at SU that Karyssa saw her dreams of becoming a journalist and being able to give a platform to those in need become a reality. She was able to get in field experience turning stories, conducting interviews and producing entire newscasts.
While at Syracuse, Karyssa minored in political science and was a member of the Syracuse University competitive co-ed cheerleading team.
Some of the best memories Karyssa has at Syracuse were traveling to football games, cheering on the sidelines for the orange and competing with her team at UCA Nationals in Walt Disney World. She was also named a captain of the team during her final semester at Syracuse.
In her free time Karyssa loves trying new restaurants and coffee spots, listening to music and hanging out with friends and family. Being one of the four D’Agostino sisters, there is always someone to talk to and catch up with.
Although Karyssa will be forever orange she is excited for her journey here at WRBL News 3.
