Kevin Roble has been the chief photographer at WRBL since 2004, but his first experience at the station dates back to 1993. That’s when he served as an intern under Sports Director Rece Davis of ESPN fame.
Kevin was hired as a production assistant in 1994. Five years later he became a news and sports photographer. He has covered the Masters golf tournament five times, which he considers one of the highlights of his career. Kevin also covered the 2001 Super Bowl and two SEC Championship games.
Kevin says he loves telling stories through his camera lens. His passion was rewarded in 2009 when he received a Georgia Associated Press honorable mention in the category of Excellence in Photo Journalism.
When he’s not at work, Kevin enjoys playing golf and driving. He’s been to 36 states so far collecting thousands of road maps along the way.
A devout Christian, Kevin is married and has one daughter.
