Tom Ingram joined the WRBL News 3 team in 2019 as the evening news producer. In 2021, he moved up to digital lead producer. He’s covered area arts and entertainment for years and is a graduate of Columbus State University.
Before joining WRBL in 2019, Tom founded Columbus’s leading arts and entertainment magazine, The LocaL. The magazine’s first issue featured Pasaquan, well before other and regional publications took notice of the recently renovated art environment.
While there, Tom interviewed major artists, including Betsy Eby, Bo Bartlett and Najee Dorsey. He also covered local businesses, restaurants and music.
In his free time, Tom enjoys going on nature hikes with his wife and children around the Chattahoochee Valley and reading classic literature.
Tom’s essays have appeared in Black Art in America, Punchnell’s and Arden. As a copywriter, Tom wrote dozens of articles for The Ledger-Enquirer and affiliated publications. He has also written and edited copy for everything from websites to hot sauce bottles. And when the three cats stop mewing and the dishes are washed and the hot sauce purveyors stop harrying him, Tom writes fiction.
