Columbus to host 2nd annual Zombies vs. Survivors Run

(PRESS RELEASE) — Celebrate Halloween like never before as you run for your life at the Second Annual Zombie V. Survivors 5K Run.

The Zombie Run is an interactive fun run stretching from Woodruff Park, taking you along the River Walk, through Uptown Columbus, passing TSYS and back through Uptown towards the finish. During your run you will encounter Zombies roaming the streets of Uptown, hanging out under bridges and lurking in abandoned areas along the route!

Keep your eyes open – Zombies don’t like fast food so be ready to run! You may stumble across a few obstacles and run through some haunted graveyards… All in a day’s work surviving the zombie apocalypse.

Event starts Friday, October 14 at 6 p.m. with a Tot Trot and Costume Contest kids 5 years and under. The Tot Trot will be a short obstacle course in Woodruff Park.

All scary zombies will be along 5K Race route by 5:30 p.m. Costume Contest will be judged during Tot Trot and Chick-fil-A gift cards will be handed out at random to costume winners after they cross finish line.

The 5K run takes off at 6:30 PM.

This is a great event for families and friends to come out for some seasonal Zombie fun while interacting with your community!
