The Proclamation referenced Dellinger’s 15-year service as Smiths Station’s first and only mayor.
She shares how she expects life to run moving forward.
“I don’t intend to drop out. I’ll be as much involved as they’ll allow me to be. I already told Bubba I’m gonna aggravate him. I really do think Bubba is gonna do a good job. I’ve endorsed him. It is my belief that he will be a good mayor,” says Dellinger.
As News 3 reported in June, Dellinger issued out a letter to Smiths Stations residents. She said in part, “I cannot adequately focus on my health and my family while also giving the city the necessary attention it deserves.”
