AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn Police have made an arrest from an investigation into a robbery that occurred Monday.
20-year-old Tequan Webb was arrested and charged with burglary, robbery, and hindering prosecution.
The robbery occurred July 11 around 11:30 a.m. at a home in the 700 block of West Glenn Avenue. Officers responded after receiving a call about someone illegally entering the residence, while it was occupied; robbing the tenant at gun point and fleeing. Officers were provided a description of the suspect and the vehicle, no property was taken and no injuries were reported.
An investigation into the incident resulted in a 16-year-old male teen being developed as the suspect. Warrants were obtained for his arrest and he was located the following day, on July 12 and taken into custody and charged with robbery and burglary.
Further investigation revealed that a second suspect, Tequan C. Webb, was also involved in the robbery and arrest warrants were obtained; he was located and taken into custody with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.
Webb was transported to the Lee County Jail where he will be eligible for a $128,000 bond.
