Aflac donates hundreds of school supplies

News

COLUMBUS,Ga.- It’s back to school time and most teachers are spending hundreds and thousands of dollars of their own money in school supplies.

Aflac donated hundreds of school supplies that they no longer needed.

They gave away binders, pens, calculators, paper, paper clips and printers to more than 90 teachers from the Tri City Area.

Aflac decided to step in and help when they found out teachers had to buy their own school supplies out of pocket.

They wanted to help teachers save money as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

If teachers don’t pick up all the items that were donated there may be another “Free Cycle” during the school year.
