UPDATE: Macon Co. Sheriff Brunson was able to talk to the suspect over a bullhorn and get him to peacefully surrender Tuesday. Sheriff Brunson convinced him to put down a gun and meet him outside the apartment. He was safely taken into custody.

Investigators are saying the suspect allegedly shot and killed another man in the apartment complex near Lakeview Road after they got into a disagreement.

TUSKEGEE, Ala. (WRBL) – Law enforcement agencies are gathering near a Tuskegee neighborhood for a barricaded individual and possible injuries.

The situation began Wednesday morning. Sheriff André Brunson confirms he is on the scene and will provide information later.
