Auburn police charge man with four counts of drug possession

The Auburn Police Division arrested an Auburn man in connection with drug possession on Friday.

Police say 25-year-old Denver Alexander Atwood was arrested and charged with four counts of possession of controlled substance, first-degree possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  

Police say the arrests are a result of a three-month investigation, by the Auburn Narcotics Division that ended in a search warrant on December 21, 2018 at his residence in the 300 block of West Longleaf Drive in Auburn.

Cocaine, Marijuana, Adderall, Lorazepam, THC contained in candy as well as two firearms were seized from inside his residence.   

Atwood was transported to the Lee County Detention Center and held on a $10,000 bond. The investigation is ongoing and other arrests are possible.
