Auburn Police find missing 14-year-old in Austell, Ga


UPDATE: Auburn Police located Nilah Tanhjah-Deloris Thomas in Austell, Georgia Tuesday, with assistance from the Austell Police Department.

She was unharmed and further investigation determined that Nilah left Auburn on her own accord.

She is being reunited with her family in Georgia, where she resides.

AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn police is asking for the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Nilah Tanhjah-Deloris Thomas.

Police say she has black hair and brown eyes. Nilah is approximately 5’2” in height and weighs about 120 pounds and suffers from ADHD and bipolar disorder.

She was last seen on Friday August 5 in Auburn wearing a white tank top, blue jean shorts, white sandals and carrying a beige purse.

Police say Nilah may be headed to the area of Tuskegee, Alabama or Atlanta, Georgia.
