DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan police seized nearly a million dollars in narcotics and firearms in a drug bust Friday.

The raid happened in Ashford, where officers executed a search warrant at 107 Grimsley Dr. and found 25 kilograms of cocaine along with two rifles and two handguns. The cocaine alone is estimated to be worth more than $800,000.

While one of the suspects — Muta Takir Bolden — was from the Dothan, the other three are from along the US-Mexican border in Texas. Kenneth Nicholas De La Cerda, 24, and Alberto Diaz Jr., 42, are both from Rio Grande City while Jesus Pina Jr. is from Penitas.

All four were charged with drug trafficking and booked into the Dothan City Jail with no bond until getting transferred to the Houston County Jail.

Dothan police wrote in a Facebook post that this raid was the result of a month’s work of investigating “the sale of drugs in Dothan and the surrounding area.”

Dothan Police Vice Investigators, Dothan Police K9 Units, and the Dothan Police SRT Unit collaborated in this investigation.
