Missing Lanett mother and three kids found safe



7/29/16 5:32 p.m. – Lanett Police say they have found the missing mother and three children and all are safe.

LANETT, Ala. – Lanett Police say a mother and her three children are missing.

Police say, husband Chris Abney reported Friday afternoon when he came home on Thursday, his wife and three sons were not at home.

Below are descriptions for the mother and her children:

  • 24-year-old Ashly Abney is described as being 5’4″, weighing 130 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair.
  • 5-year old Chris Abney is described as 4′ tall, 50 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
  • 4-year-old Aston Abney is described as 3’6″, 70 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
  • 3-year-old Nathaniel Abney is described as 3′ tall, weighing 40 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Police say they were last seen Thursday, July 28 between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.
