Alabama law enforcement agency says a three-car crash has claimed two Anniston women around 2:35 p.m. on Nov. 27.

They say 46-year-old Marjorie Beck Butler and 62-year-old Rhonda Renee Vickers were killed when the 2000 Mitsubishi Montero driven by Ms. Butler side-swiped a 1978 Peterbilt tractor-trailer before colliding head-on with a 2015 Peterbilt tractor-trailer.

They say there were no other injuries.

The crash occurred on U.S. 31 near the 214-mile marker, about two miles south of Clanton.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
