AUBURN, Ala. – An Auburn woman has been arrested after she used a stolen credit card.

Auburn Police say they arrested 30-year-old Lauren Batchelor on felony warrants charging her with identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Her arrest is a result of an investigation into a report of fraudulent use of a credit card made back on January 20, 2016. The victim reported that someone illegally obtained her personal and credit card information and used it to make an online purchase for over $6,000.

Batchelor was employed at a local business where the victim had previously used her credit card.

Batchelor was located and transported to the Lee County Jail and will be eligible for a $5,500 bond.
