BREAKING: Double homicide confirmed in Columbus


COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) – UPDATE: Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirms three victims were involved in Monday night’s shooting.

Two of the victims have been identified as 18-year-old Montrell Johnson and 17-year-old Terreon Joseph.

Coroner Bryan says both victims suffered single gunshot wounds. Johnson was shot in the head and Joseph was shot in the chest. Bryan says a third victim was shot and sent to the hospital for treatment.


Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan confirms a double homicide in south Columbus late Monday night.

Two males were killed in a shooting along 32nd Avenue in Columbus. Bryan says both men were pronounced dead just after midnight. No identities have been released yet.
