Back in October 2017, a driver reported a body lying on the side of Chambers Road 25.
Investigators identified the victim as 57 year old Tammie Blount. The Chambers County Sheriff Office says Blount’s killer shot her to death. The Sheriff’s Office hopes offering a reward in the case will motivate someone to come forward.
“The governor’s office has issued a $5,000 reward that is still outstanding for any information that we can gather and at least to an arrest in this case,“ Shannon Rollins, Chambers County Sheriff’s Office Chief Investigator.
Investigators say Blount was last seen alive on October 19th, 2017 in a white Ford Taurus. She was found dead the next day.
Anyone with information on the murder should call The Chambers County Sheriff’s Office.
