Columbus police catch Sunday night stabbing suspect



7:20 a.m. — Police say they have caught and arrested a man suspected of stabbing his stepbrother through the back.

31-year-old Thomas Eaton is in jail for allegedly stabbing his stepbrother David Daniels during an argument. Police say Eaton was caught trying to return home where the stabbing happened at 4117 Norwood Drive.

Daniels is in fair condition at St. Francis Medical Center and is expected to recover.


COLUMBUS, Ga — One man is in the hospital and another is on the run after they had an argument that led to a stabbing, Columbus police say.

Police confirm the victim is 31-year-old David Daniels.They say he was arguing with his step brother at 4117 Norwood Drive, Columbus around 11 p.m. Sunday night.

Police say the argument turned violent when Daniels’ stepbrother stabbed him before running away.
