COLUMBUS, Ga — Police confirm to News 3 a house was broken into in the 3400 block of Cherokee Avenue. This news comes after police say four men broke into eight homes in north Columbus Thursday.
Police say Thursday’s robberies happened in the Bridlewood neighborhood and the suspects kicked in doors to get into homes. Two teens say they were home when the suspects arrived at their house and that the burglars took off when they saw them inside.
A neighbor on Cherokee Avenue says Friday he has an outside security camera and saw the burglars escaping in a black Audi. His son also says he saw four black males leaving the house that was robbed. He says when they saw him looking, one of the men threatened him before getting into the Audi.
