COLUMBUS, Ga – Columbus police are searching for the two men who went into a residence on St. Mary’s Road Monday morning, and shot a man several times.
It happened at 5:00 a.m. at 5542 St. Marys Road. Police say two black males armed with handguns went into the home and demanded everyone’s money. They say during the home invasion, a man was shot several times. Police say multiple people were present at the time of the incident.
The victim was taken to Midtown Medical Center, where he was last listed in “serious” condition.
Police say one of the suspects was wearing a black beanie, glasses, and all black clothing. He’s described as being about 6 feet tall, weighing about 175 pounds.
They say the other suspect was also wearing all black clothing. He is also described as being about 6 feet tall, weighing about 175 pounds.
