COLUMBUS, Ga. — Columbus police are looking for a man wanted in connection to a Labor Day assault.
51-year-old Merrick Redding was developed as the suspect into the assault of Joseph Davis on Bond Avenue. Police say the two were arguing before Davis was found fatally hit in the head.
Detectives say a warrant for Redding has been obtained for the charge of murder.
Redding is described as 5’11” and 235 pounds and his last known address is in the 2400 block of Wise Street.
