COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL) – A death investigation is underway on Enoch Drive in Columbus.
Police say on Friday, November 27, 2020 around 10 p.m., members of the Columbus Police Department’s patrol division were dispatched to the 1000 block of Enoch Drive, in reference to a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers located Charles Adam Brazell, 44, seated inside his vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Brazell was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 11 p.m. by Deputy Coroner Charles Newton.
The Homicide Unit was notified and assumed the investigation.
Witnesses described a suspect vehicle as possibly being a Ford F-150, red in color with unknown occupants.
This is the 42nd homicide in Columbus for 2020.
