COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Several Columbus Police units responded to a scene on Lamore St. near Watkins Dr.

A crime scene has been taped off and several evidence markers are on the ground. Residents have reported shots fired in the area, but this has not yet been confirmed with Columbus PD.

Police blocked off a section of Lamore St. by the railroad crossing from Watkins Dr. toward Lamore Dr.
