RUSSELL COUNTY, Ala. (WRBL) – A Russell County woman was sentenced to prison in connection to a 2021 death.
On Wednesday, Samantha Elizabeth Malasig received a 20-year prison sentence in connection to the death of Christopher Roper.
According to the RCSO, investigators initially arrested Malasig on January 15, 2021.
Last month, on April 19, RCSO investigators and the Russell County County DA’s Office acquired a guilty verdict for Malasig.
