Phenix City, Ala. (WRBL)- A deadly car accident claims the life of a woman in East Alabama.
Ophelia Tucker Perry, 57, died after her car was struck by a pickup truck Saturday evening, according to Russell County Coroner, Arthur Sumbry Jr.
The deadly crash happened on Highway 280 near the Waffle House in Phenix City. Tucker was pronounced dead at 4:35 p.m., Sumbry Said.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
