In a galaxy far far away, or just over at the Columbus Museum of Art, Ewoks and Jedis enjoyed a night out. The occasion, to recognized May 4th as National Star Wars Day.
The museum put together an evening of celebrating the movies with cosplay, a tour of the museum and a costume contest. Adults and children came out dressed in their alternate galaxy best, learning about art with other fans.
“I dressed up like a death trooper and if yall see.. If yall think I am a pilot from the dark side- don’t think that because I am a death trooper- and he is Luke Skywalker,” says Jake and Luke.
“It was definitely a lot of fun for the kids I actually had at least one battle I think with one of the kids as well as with one or two of the jawas so they dressed up, they were wearing all of their fan gear which was phenomenal!” says Abbie Edens.
This was the third year the museum has held the event. May the fourth be with you.
