Imagine getting a letter today from a loved one who died four decades ago.
That’s exactly what happened for a family originally from Madison, North Carolina when the town opened a time capsule as a part of its bicentennial celebration.
Greg, in 1968 people in the town of Madison were allowed to contribute something to put inside a time capsule.
The capsule was then buried for an opening during the town’s 150th Anniversary celebration on July 4, 2018.
