For is recalling 1.4 million cars due to a manufacturing problem.

The company says a bolt could come loose on the steering wheel and in some cases cause it detach while driving.

The affected models in the recall are Ford Fusions and Lincoln MKZs from 2014 to 2018.

The automaker says two accidents due to the malfunction have been reported.
