Former Cottonmouths Want Hockey Back


Columbus, GA – The Columbus Cottonmouths were the Fountain City’s local hockey team from 1996 to 2017. The team was beloved by the community and the players loved the city back. Now after two years since the Snakes shut their doors, there’s a possibility of another hockey franchise coming to Columbus.

News 3’s sports team followed up with former Cottonmouths to see what they think about Columbus as a potential hockey town.
