Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp talks about weather, Super Bowl, funding for Columbus medical school

Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has been on the job less than a month, but he is clearly settling into his new role as the state’s chief executive officer.

Monday afternoon, WRBL reporter Chuck Williams spent time with Kemp in his Atlanta office talking about a wide range of topics in a one-on-one interview.

Kemp was asked about everything from his Super Bowl prediction to the more than $9 million in his proposed state budget for Mercer University Medical School Columbus campus.

Kemp made time for the interview, which was scheduled late last week, as the state was bracing for bad weather, He talked about what Georgia was doing to prepare for the snow and ice in the forecast.
