FORT BENNING, Ga — Four marksmen from Fort Benning are headed to Rio as part of the U.S. Olympic shooting team.
Representatives say there are several events the shooters can qualify for including small bore rifle and pistol, trap, skeet, and double trap. There are also air rifle and pistol events.
Fort Benning will hold a media event Wednesday to answer questions before the athletes head to the games. The opening ceremony for the 2016 Olympics will be August 5.
