ATLANTA, Ga (AP) — Prosecutors say a 22-year-old Atlanta man will now spend life in prison for his involvement in the fatal shooting of another man over a PlayStation 4.
The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office say Nathaniel Vivian was found guilty Wednesday of murder, felony murder, armed robbery and other charges in the 2014 death of 28-year-old Daniel Zeitz. Vivian and Kayla Dixon, a 16-year-old at the time, planned to rob Zeitz at gunpoint during a Craigslist sale.
Prosecutors say Vivian refused to pay $280 for the PlayStation and tried to take the console away from Zeitz. Prosecutors say Dixon shot Zeitz in the chest when he and Vivian fought over the console. Police say Dixon’s 1-year-old daughter was also in the room at the time of the shooting.
Zeitz was pronounced dead at the scene.
Dixon was sentenced to 40 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to murder in July.
