COLUMBUS Ga. – The Mayor’s prayer rally to end violence took on a more somber tone today. Dozens of people packed the St. Luke Ministry Center to send their prayers and condolences to the victims and their families in this morning’s terrorist attack. Community activists, reverends and city officials came together seeking one goal, to end violence in our community and across the nation. Gerald Riley from Overlfo Ministries gave a prayer for peace and unity.The AME Unity Choir also dedicated their praise and worship to the victims and their families. The peace rally ended with a moment of silence for the victims.
