1 MONTH LATER: Over 900 tickets issued for hands free driving

Local News

Georgia’s Handsfree Driving Law has been in effect for a month.

The Georgia State Patrol has issued 923 citations to drivers around the state. The law says you may not hold your phone while driving for any reason –including calls.

The one exception is using touch to answer a call and one touch to hang up a call.
