AUBURN, Ala. (WRBL) – Auburn investigators are asking for the public’s assistance into the ongoing shooting death investigation, offering a $5,000 reward in the shooting death of 30-year-old Cedric Jerome Parker Jr. of Auburn.
On February 15, 2018, at about 10:00 p.m., Auburn Police received a call reporting shots being fired in the 900 block of Old Mill Road. Responding officers discovered the victim lying outside of a residence suffering from a gunshot wound. He was subsequently pronounced deceased at 11:02 p.m. by an EAMC Emergency Room Physician.
A $5,000 reward has been secured through the Alabama Governor’s Office with the efforts of a local State Representative, Auburn Police, and the Lee County District Attorney’s Office. The reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual responsible for the homicide.
