Alabama Republican runoff eight days away

The Alabama Republican Primary kicks off in eight days and several races have not been determined yet. 

 The U.S. District 2 House race where Republican Incumbent Martha Roby faces former Congressman Bobby Bright in a GOP runoff. The district includes all of Barbour County. 

In the race for Lieutenant Governor – Alabama Public Service Commission President Twinkle Cavanaugh faces State Representative Will Ainsworth.

Other key races include Attorney General Steve Marshall going up against former Attorney General Troy King in the GOP runoff for the state’s top prosecutor.

State senator Gerald Dial goes head-to-head with Rick Pate – a farmer and businessman – in the Republican runoff for Agriculture Commissioner.
