Auburn police arrest suspect in drug trafficking investgation

Auburn Police arrested a suspect in connection to a drug trafficking on Thursday. 

Police arrested Francis Erskine Bean, 31, of Auburn and charged with trafficking marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Authorities say as part of an ongoing investigation, Members of the Auburn Police Division Narcotics Section searched a home at a residence in the 600 block of North Gay Street. 

Authorities say they found a quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the home.

Bean was later transported to the Lee County Jail, where he was being held on a $26,000 bond. This case remains under investigation by the Auburn Police Division Narcotics Section.
