Auburn police make another arrest in connection to deadly shooting near McDonald’s

Auburn police have arrested a man on multiple charges that they believe was at the scene of a deadly shooting in September near a fast-food restaurant. 

Michael Terrell Long, 22, is charged with discharging a firearm within city limits, reckless endangerment, and disorderly conduct. 

Police say the arrest is a result of the ongoing investigation of the September ninth murder of Evan Wilson on at the McDonalds on West Magnolia Avenue in Auburn.     

Police have already charged 17-year-old Jarvis Nichols with the murder of Wilson. 

:Long has been identified as being at the scene of the shooting and firing a weapon during the incident. This case remains under investigation by the Auburn police and they say additional arrests are likely.
