Bob receives Urban Forestry Award

Local News

It’s time to brag a bit on our friend.

Something special down at the 27th annual Keep Columbus Beautiful awards luncheon.

Our own Chief Meteorologist Bob Jeswald was honored at the Columbus State University Cunningham Center. Bob and agencies like Trees Columbus, helping to plant new trees in Lake Bottom Park.

Bob received the Urban Forestry Award from KCBC and Trees Columbus.

Dozens of volunteers in the private and public sectors all did their part in the 2017-2018 Keep Columbus Beautiful Campaign.

They picked up trash, planted trees, and kept our city looking beautiful.
