BUSINESSES

Auburn Public Library closed and garbage pickup delayed, Wednesday, January 17
Afni in Opelika has delayed opening until 10:00 CST Wednesday, January 17
CTV Beam (Cable and Internet Provider) to Phenix City, Ala) – Will Open at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18
- Customer service department and tech support will however open at 8:00am and can be reached at (334) 298-7000
City of Opelika Closures- All City of Opelika facilities to close early today and will be closed January 17 due to inclement weather.
- The City of Opelika, including City Hall, the Library, Parks & Recreation, and all other departments will close at 3:30 p.m. today and will be closed on Wednesday, January 17.
- There will be no garbage pickup Wednesday, January 17.
- All City of Opelika facilities will open Thursday, January, 18, at 11 a.m. for business.
Both Barbour County courthouses closed Wednesday, January 17
Bickerstaff- Parham Realty Closed Wednesday, January 17
Exide Technologies in Columbus, Georgia will be closed on 1st shift for all employees except for essential personnel.

- Garbage Collection service for Thursday, January 18, 2018 will begin at 10:00am. All
  routes will be completed on Thursday. Garbage Collection service (makeup from
  Monday Holiday) scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, 2018 will be picked up on
  Saturday, January 20, 2018.
- METRA Bus service including Dial-A-Ride Service will be delayed until 10:00am with
  the first routes leaving the METRA Transfer Center at 10:00am on Thursday, January
  18, 2018. For more information, call METRA Information at 706-225-4673. Regular
  METRA service will resume on Friday, January 19, 2018.
- All morning court sessions for Recorder’s Court are cancelled for Thursday, January 18, 2018 and will be rescheduled. Afternoon Court session at 2:00pm will be held.
