Calvary Christian School announced the hiring of a new Admissions Director Friday, April 27.

Becky Young, Communications and Marketing Specialist, says Sara Ketcham will succeed CCS Admissions Director, Donnie Smithwick.

“I am excited to join the wonderful staff at Calvary Christian School and work with families in our community seeking quality Christian education for their children,” said Sara Ketcham, Calvary Christian School Admissions Director

Young says Ketcham is no stranger to Calvary Christian School and Calvary Baptist Church. She says Ketcham’s children have studied at the school for the past four years. Ketcham’s family have been members of Calvary Baptist Church since 2001.

“Sara has a heart for our Lord, a passion to help build disciples, and a desire to connect families across the Chattahoochee Valley with the wonderful Christian education available only at Calvary Christian School,” Jim Koan, Calvary Christian School Headmaster.

Young says Ketcham has served as Property Manager of the Calvary Community Apartments. She’s also served as Executive Director of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra prior to that position. Ketcham earned her BS in Public Relations and Broadcast Journalism from Troy University.

“The Lord continues to bless the ministries at Calvary, and I am humbled to be a part of His plan for the future,” said Sara Ketcham, Calvary Christian School Admissions Director

Young says she has served professionally here in Columbus at the Springer Opera House, Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau and Kinetic Credit Union.

Calvary Christian School is a K3-12th-grade school.
