Car fire near National Infantry Museum

COLUMBUS, Ga — Police and fire crews are on the scene putting out a car fire at 3110 South Lumpkin Road.

News 3’s live reporter says the car is in the woods behind the roundabout leading to the National Infantry Museum.

Police on the scene say they do not know if the fire was arson, but there are two trees down in front of the car, making it look as though the car went off the road and hit them before stopping.
