Local News

Paying your next traffic ticket or fine could be as easy as hitting a button on your phone.

The City of Columbus now offers online and over-the-phone payments through a new partnership with national independent payment processing system, nCourt.

A press release says one of the most common requests Judge Julius Hunter, Jr. receives is to provide the mobile community with convenience of paying traffic fines online or by telephone.

The payment website is available here and also from a link on the Recorder’s Court website. Payment options are available in English and Spanish. Fine payments can also be made by calling 706-358-4232.

Both local and out-of-state citizens may access the site Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 12:00 a.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am till 6:00 pm.

If using this service, all payments must be submitted before to 8:00 a.m. one business day (not including Saturday or Sunday) before your scheduled court date. Partial payments will not be accepted.
