COLUMBUS, Ga. – Columbus Parks and Recreation Director James Worsley is saying goodbye to the Fountain City.

Worsley announced in an email to employees Tuesday that he is leaving to take a job in Chesterfield, Virginia. Worsley says that will put him closer to family.

He told News 3 he’s enjoyed five great years here as the Director and Parks and Rec.

Worsley’s last day on the job will be July 21st.
