Columbus Police confirm shooting on Calhoun Drive

UPDATE 11:05 a.m. 09/13/2021 – The Muscogee County Coroner’s Office has released the name of a man killed in an early morning shooting on Calhoun Drive.

According to Chief Deputy Coroner Freeman Worley, Jamar Pipkin, 27, was pronounced dead at 6:33 a.m. following a shooting in the 3900 block of Calhoun Drive on Sept. 13, 2021.

Worley says Pipkin’s body will be sent for to the GBI crime lab for autopsy.

COLUMBUS Ga. (WRBL) – The Columbus Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred in the 3900 block of Calhoun Drive.

According to police, officers responded to the scene at approximately 5:31a.m. Monday, Sept. 13. Columbus police confirm one man has been shot.
