Columbus Police seeks help identifying a vehicle involved in an aggravated assault from March 21

The Robbery/Assault Unit of the Columbus Police Department is seeking the community’s help in identifying a vehicle from an Aggravted Assault that occurred on March 21.

In the early morning of March 21, there was a report of shots fired from one vehicle to another. One bullet reportedly struck the driver of the second vehicle, according to a release from CPD. The crime took place in the area of Warm Springs Road and Gurley Drive.

Police believe that one of the vehicles involved is “an older model (early 2000’s) Chevrolet Impala” with a light colored paintjob.

CPD thinks this vehicle is the one that belongs to the suspect. The impala is belived to “have body damage to the rear passenger side bumper including red paint transferred to the suspect vehicle.”
