Columbus senior housing wins big at International Builder’s Show

Columbus newest senior citizens home won the 2018 gold award for affordable housing given by NAHB (National Association of Home Builders). 

Patriot Pointe is a 100-unit complex on Fort Benning Road which opened in 2016. 

” The award honors the people companies, projects and programs that have contributed to innovative marketing, industry-leading design and construction and community lifestyle features that appeal to all life stages, ” according to NAHB.

NAHB made the announcement at the International Builder’s Show in Orlando. 

Patriot Pointe replaced the old Chapman Homes. It is for residents 55 years of age and older. Patriot Pointe was developed by the Housing Authority of Columbus, Georgia and Columbia Residential, Inc. It was designed by JHP Architecture designed the community.
