Educators, students bring the STEAM to Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga (WRBL) -  The 3rd annual Let's Grow STEAM Youth College and Careers Expo returned to the Columbus Georgia Convention and Trade Center Thursday morning.  

Nearly 4,000 students poured into an expo at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center Thursday 

The event encourages students to increase their awareness of STEAM which stands for science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. 

STEAM's primary goal is to ensure students have the proper resources and skills to fill the needed of our economy. 

The expo also encourages kids to recognize how their gifts and education can translate into a much needed skill. A skill that's associated with the art of career development.
