Fort Benning CID Office searching for woman wanted in alleged kidnapping

Investigators at Fort Benning are searching for a woman who is accused of kidnapping a child.

A Fort Benning spokesperson confirms the information found on a “Be On the Look Out” or BOLO sign circulating Facebook. The BOLO can also be found in a few of the businesses on post.

The BOLO details Fort Benning CID Office’s search for a female and green 2011 Dodge Charger.

According to the BOLO, the incident occurred on March 31st in the McGraw Village housing area on post.

A Facebook post from someone who appears to be the child’s mother, says the child is home safe and that the child provided the description to authorities.

The description found on the BOLO says the woman in 5″6 and thin with curly brown hair.

A $3,000 reward is being offered for anyone with information that leads to a conviction.
