Fort Benning, GA (WRBL) - A group of civilians and military leaders met at Fort Benning to review the western hemisphere institute for security cooperation's performance over this past year.
67 students from 10 countries attended the annual meeting discussing fiscal affairs, and matters surrounding the secretary of defense. The course topics included professional military education, law enforcement, subjects pertaining to human rights and combating transnational threats.
Guest speakers at this year’s event included several military branches-such as The Department of Homeland Security and United Nations. The institute helps to preserve the United States as a zone of peace and set conditions for prosperity in the western hemisphere.
Folks will have an opportunity to place tree limbs and branches out on the curb without charge through March 1st. In order for Public Works to pick up what's left of the fallen trees, the following must take place:
